Always the last to know
I wish the gubment would let more us in on what it is doing in my area because it is not always easy to tell their explosions from ours.
It was a nice show though.

I first read that as
I wish the gubment ... easy to tell their explosions from ours.
And thought you meant "make it easy to tell", and I wondered if this would be sort of like the CIA supplying stingers with red tracers to the Taliban, and stingers with green tracers to the US Army.
But then I thought that this would be a bad plan, and I'd really prefer gubments to stay out of the hardware business altogether, and stick to the managed services business, as that way the hardware stays safely in responsible, professional hands, which is where I'd like it to remain.
