use Perl

Sometimes I run out of things to listen to when I work (since I do not typically listen to music while I work), so I run my own little SETI project by listening for pilots reporting UFOs (like in Close Encounters of the Third Kind ). I am ha ving as much luck as SETI@Home.

Real Audio feeds :

• Chicago Air Traffic Control (the busiest airport in the nation, with apparently no UFOs).
• Dallas/ Fort Worth Air Traffic Control
• The funny accents at an airport down under with high tech video, but no X-Files sorta stuff.
• Many other ATC broadcasts or another sort of ATC

Sin ce I have not heard any pilots talk about space aliens, I figure they are saving it for the pilot's lounge or someth ing. When I get frustrated with their apparent unwillingness to report UFOs to Air Traffic Control, I try NASA's Ground to Space Transmissions (The Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-107) is in orbit at the moment), but I have not heard a single "Houston, we have a problem" or "That's no moon".
