Speaking about seeing patterns in the static...

Today I went to a big media store here in Milan. I noticed a dvd of a movie called Basic (2003). To quote the tagline from the IMDb, "Deception is their most dangerous weapon." (Also on the cover box.) Whoa! I stay happily hooked with Perl instead.

      Yep, my humour tends to be cryptic sometimes, even cryptonitic under specific conditions. But "seriously" it may have taken a bit to me too, because... which BASIC after all? Dartmouth? one of the bazillion different languages for some reason bearing the name? Maybe this is the reason why "deception is their most dangerous weapon"...
