Fun with LWP

[ #9023 ]
Having had a few attempts to get the web talking to me, I decided to really go for it and do a bit of web scraping. After a bit of jiggery-pokery with HTML::TokeParser I got a working Currency Converter working from live currency rates.

So I may get my first module on CPAN after all. Now have to write the test and bundle it up. I'll see if a few of my peers think it's wise first though :)

My bigger attempt (and resulting short talk if it works) is now soon to follow. Especially as I'm going to be have Copious Free Time soon.

Nicole did my cards today, and apparently I'm going to have a bit of a downer (well being made redundant does that to you), but that I'm going to bounce back with something bigger and better. One of the cards was the sign for wealth ... may be I'm going to win Who Wants To Be A Millionaire at last.
