The First Non-American

[ #38587 ]

YAPC::NA 2009 has now had it switch flipped and you can now register for the conference. I was quite pleased to discover that I was the first non-US registrant for the conference.

I see they've also prepared their Conference Wiki as per my preparation of the YAPC::Europe 2009 Wiki. So now that you've got the bare bones, go help them fill it in. What BOFs would you like to see, or want to instigate? Have you made any travel plans, if so update the Arrivals and Departures pages. If you've been to Pittsburgh before, add any places to sight-see, or restaurant/bars you might like to recommend. After all this is an attendees wiki, and is for everyone to help each other plan their flights, accommodation and stay in Pittsburgh.

So go sign up now, I'm sure the Pittsburgh guys will be delighted to know you'll be going :)

  • Yes, you're the first non-US resident but you're not the first non-American :)

    • Drat, caught out on a technicality ;) I'll have to be more vigilant next year and get signed-up the moment it goes public :)
