Willkommen im Wien

[ #32368 ]

Nicole and I got here safe and sound. The hotel is very clean and presentable, but best of all they have free Wifi :)

Steve and Lynsey should be arriving a little later, so we're going on a reccy for food before settling in at the bar.

The Birmingham.pm World Tour 2007 has begun ;)

  • If you want some place-to-eat proposals:
    - The centimeter (near Karlsplatz, they have a website)
    - Schnitzelhaus (Schnitzel-Fastfood)
    - Bierteufel (has also a good beer selection)
    - And I'd recommend a good old "Käsekrainer" at one of the little mini-convenience-store-like things throughout the city.

Oh, and how I miss those Käseleberkässemmeln... I really have to start saving money to go back soon :)

YAPC::Europe is not too long to wait ;)

Thanks for the suggestions, will try and check them out tomorrow, as I think we've settle on one eatery near the hotel for tonight ... then back to the lovely bar ... the really lovely bar. Even Thomas spoke highly of it ;)
