A tornado hit a part of Birmingham yesterday afternoon. Thanks to those who emailed asking if we're okay. Thankfully there were no fatalities, although 19 people were taken to hospital, but only 3 had fractures. Considering the damaged caused I think that everyone was rather lucky. Although none of us from Birmingham.pm live in the area affected, a few including JJ, do live fairly close.
The most worrying bit though is that it hit slap-bang in the middle of Birmingham's Balti Triangle. Ladypool Road was still undergoing a clean up this morning. I haven't seen any pictures of the curry houses, so hopefully they're okay
