I haven't touch the modules since Christmas, as I have been doing a lot of other things since, but more importantly I've learnt better way to do things. Now that I have got a lot of stuff cleared away [2] I'm nearly ready to start looking at fresh ideas. I haven't been using eBay very much of late, but I do want to learn Gtk, so this will be my next task.
In other news I now have all my modules using META.yml files. I should have done this earlier, but have been too caught up with just getting things done, I didn't realise just how easy they are to do. A quick update from CPAN (ExtUtils::MakeMaker v6.16), create a blank META.yml and a 'make dist' does the job. Simple. If only the rest of my life was that easy
[1] Initially under the namespace of WWW::Auction::eBay, with the ultimate aim to have a class type thing as WWW::Auction that will describe the basic outline for any Auction site.
[2] Slim Pickins is now live and DanDan's site is waiting to be uploaded (all 50MB of it!!).
