I now have a 20Gb laptop hard drive winging its way towards me, so I only really need some more RAM and I'll have a reasonable setup. At least I hope so, after I've reinstalled RedHat without having to cut corners.
I discovered a few people still have Toshiba bricks while at the conference. Didn't feel so lost in a sea of iBooks
