Paris here I come

[ #13611 ]
Soon to depart for the airport, so this will probably be my last post for a week. I still haven't managed to get the network ports working on the laptop :( But I am learning a little more about PCMCIA. I've ordered a brand new 20G HDD for the laptop, so I'm going to wait until it arrives, then reinstall everything on the RH9 disks and see where that gets me. The problem with a 2G HDD is that you have to leave out tons of stuff that might be useful.

Currently preparing a burn of the current snapshot of CPAN along with everything I want to fiddle with over the next few days, so that I have something to keep me occupied when I'm not drinking or listening to talks.

Looking forward to meeting lots of new faces and enjoying the company of friends. In fact I've been looking forward to this since last September :)

Paris here I come .....
