Wednesday 18th June - Birmingham Technical Meeting

[ #12788 ]
Its time for another technical meeting for Birmingham.pm'ers. We have a guest speaker, this time in the shape of ActiveState Active Awards Nominee Richard Clamp.

Rich will be talking about Siesta, plus (hopefully) a lightning talk on his new module for the Ericsson mobile phone, Device::Ericsson::AccessoryMenu. I'll be doing 3 talks, though I've only finished 1 (better get my finger out of the weekend) and JJ will be doing one. Quite a lot of talks, though thankfully not too long.

If you're in the area, please free to come along and heckle. We'll be drinking beer afterwards if thats more your thang. Details here.

I have to say, I've been impressed we've managed to get a high level of talks this year. All being well we'll keep going from strength to strength. I'd like to have a Perl Wizard do a talk at some point, but it does rather rely on some Birmingham company funding some training. Maybe I can tempt them to come over for a holiday, afterall Birmingham, it's not ....
