I mentioned to a work colleague about first getting into The Cure in 1978, he followed up by telling he wasn't even born then!
I saw my first gig at Hanley Victoria Halls on the 11th May 1981, featuring The Mood Elevators, The Au-Pairs and headliners The Beat. A fantastic night. Twist And Crawl, who are half of the original Beat lineup, are doing gigs over the the next few months. Hopefully I'll get to a couple of them. Memories
