PAR tutorial: Attendee->new(4) or die $!;

(The message below has just been posted to par@perl.org. Ideas on how to increase the turnout will be very much appreciated. I have been notified that they need 4 more people.)

After three days of preparing the tutorial slides for my TPC talk:

I have finally finished them and submitted them on time. Thanks for everybody who have mailed me suggestions privately, without which the slides would've been an unrenderable incoherent mess. :-)

...but just after typing the above paragraph, a Bad News hit my inbox, informing me that:

The PAR tutorial is currently poorly attended
If ORA does not get some extra people to sign up by the end of next week, they will have to cancel it
Which means I will not show up at OSCON/TPC, due to the very high airfare + entry fee.

So. I'm at a loss about what I can do to find enough people to attend my talk, so as usual, I turn to the list for ideas. Any suggestions are welcome, as long as they are legal. :)
