So, the idea would be two days of Perl Madness. One of the big problems is that: if I want to invite non-Portuguese speakers, I should have money, and for that, I must make listeners to pay entrance and, because I do not want to make students to pay too much, we must have many students. To have many students listening, we do not have computer rooms for the tutorial, which means this would be more like a workshop.

First day - Morning

Perl introduction (by one (or more) Portuguese teachers)

First day - Afternoon

Using modules to perform tasks - introduction to CPAN and module use

Second day - Morning

Developing modules; OO programming

Second day - Afternoon

Perl future: do parrots speak?

Please, feel free to comment and suggest titles/speakers for each slot. Of course we will not have money for more than two/three non-Portuguese speakers.

Of course we will provide time for drinking meetings with the local Perl mongers, and to know Braga city.
