Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

OSCON day 3

[ #6620 ]
What a great day it has been. After the keynotes, Damian's "Introducing the Perl 6 language" took us into a scary world of new Perl 6 features, all in 45 minutes. It was interesting as I'd missed some things in the apocalypse and it was great to hear them clearly explained. The functional programming aspect of Perl 6 is going to rock.

I spent the rest of the day editing The Perl Foundation - The OSCON2002 Movie, which we showed off after the rather good lightning talks. Rael showed off his "Apple Switch"-like movie. And there's another movie to come...

I'm currently at casey's "Who's code is it anyway?", where Chip, Nat, Damian, and Allison are behaving completely silly. It's hilarious!
