Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

It's all going a bit meta

[ #5732 ]
Our top secret project of the past couple of weeks has finally surfaced. The new, improved scribot is now up. scribot is a community blog for #london.pm and now has a proper database backend and a SOAP API so that people can access all that nice data. I like scribot. It's IRC interface is dead simple, and now we keep a little more metadata it's kind of useful to expose it all.

On the work front, I need to find out why I'm enjoying optimising generated SQL so much...
