Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

Talk

[ #35678 ]
I'm stuck. What shall I talk about at YAPC::Asia and YAPC::Europe this year? What would you like to hear about?

  • I have no idea what you care about nowadays, but if you have some kind of a Pet Peeve, that may be a good start :)

Perhaps it may be worth waking up some of your earlier modules, and making them more up-to-date?

Example: Perl::Metric::Basic - What role does that module have today? Is it significantly useful in some way? Do other modules do something similar? What have you done to cooperate with those module's authors? What can others learn of your experiences from this?

    I'm sure you'll figure something out ;-)
  • No one has yet to submit a talk about 5.10. Not sure if you want to redo your talk in LWP, but I'm sure there should be a general interest for that topic.
    • Or ... if you don't wanna redo that talk, "Writing Facebook App in Perl" might be cool, as well.
