Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

Google Developer Day Afternoon

[ #33397 ]
So in recap to yesterday, it was all quite fun. Turns out that the London event had much more goodies than San Jose's. I took part in a API workshop and wrote a Maplet and won a 3D mouse - I've been zooming around Google Earth today. Nicholas and I were first out of the video-conferenced keynote (quite corporate) and into the bar, where we chatted with Perl mongers, Chris DiBona and others about, errr, Perl 7. Weren't there? You can watch the presentations on YouTube.
