Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

NPW07: Old Perls and new code

[ #33133 ]

I managed to make it to Copenhagen for the Nordic Perl Workshop. First off was Maddingue with Old Perls and new code: on the little things which he has to do to support CPAN modules on older Perls. A neat talk and sounds very much like little annoying things which crop up over and over again: such as qr// only actually being used in test suites. I fear that 5.10's new features will annoy him ;-)

Update: check out his slides.
