Birthday
This is my birthday week (yes, I'm 26 now) and it's been a great one so far. The highlight was going to Nobu (Japanese / fusion restaurant) with my parents and sister, which was totally amazing. The food was great. Best two dishes: new style yellowtail sashimi and black cod with miso. As I'm doing Japanese cookery lessons I'll try and work these in ;-)
The Nobu cookbook has been the christmas / birthday present to get recently. It's a really good cookbook, presenting delicious recipes. The only drawback being is that he picks the most ridiculously expensive and hard to find ingredients. Oh well.
Last night I went to my local (The Prince Bonaparte) with some friends, which was fun too. Oh, and yesterday my offer on a flat was accepted! I get the keys next friday and then I get to put in a gas cooker, paint it, and slowly turn it into the geekflat...
