Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

Well, it finally happened. I got around to putting my website under Apache 2 and mod_perl2.

It wasn't very hard at all, because I was using OpenFrame. However, I was using a really old version of OpenFrame and had to fix a few things (eg: configuration and cleanup segments changed) to get it to work. And of course, I just used OpenFrame::Segment::Apache2 and everything magically worked. Well, I was in shock. Also latest news is that Apache::Request for mod_perl2 is well on its way now.

Next week I'm off to Boca Raton with the rest of the Fotango crew. We're there Saturday->Saturday and I think it's going to be wonderful. There will be orange pens, for one thing...
