Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

I go through phases. Sometimes I don't mind being an admin on a server. Sometimes I hate hardware. All of it.

I provide a European node for the rhizomatic IRC network. We were going to migrate it from one old box to a shiny 1U box. The old box just went boom. Cue frantic hacking and phone calls and backup strategies.

It's all back up now. Still have to wait for DNS to make the move transparent, but it's such a pain. I like taking my time to do things!
