Leon Brocard (aka acme) is an orange-loving Perl eurohacker with many varied contributions to the Perl community, including the GraphViz module on the CPAN. YAPC::Europe was all his fault. He is still looking for a Perl Monger group he can start which begins with the letter 'D'.

At the end of this week I'll be talking at JOIN2003 at the University of Minho in Portugal. This year I decided that it'd be simpler to present the same talk at every conference I attended, so the topic is "Little Languages in Parrot". The attendees at my talk won't necessarily know much about Perl and the history of Parrot, so I'll have to add a couple of slides about them I imagine. There are Microsoft Research people talking before and after me, so I may have to add in a couple of .NET jokes too ;-)
