Scary stuff: there's a huge forest fire (1,200 acres last I heard) in the Angeles National Forest. The smoke is filling the sky over this part of So Cal, and the billows were coming from behind the mountains as I left for work this morning.
This evening I could clearly see the flames cresting the hills, probably 10-15 miles from my house. It looks like hell, literally, in the telescope.
Earthquakes, drought, fire; Southern California's getting to be a real fun place to live. Next it'll be locusts and frogs.
Sand (Score:1)
You could live with me for a few days/weeks. We don't have trees, or forests, or anything that burns. We have sand. Lots of sand.
Plus, I have a script I need some input on, and a fridge full of beer and a cabinet full of whiskey ... Granted, the script may never get finished, but it's not like we'll remember ... or care.
If things get any worse, I'll have to ask you to stop helping me.
