Spammer contract!

[ #17333 ]

I find this incredible: spammers are actually advertising positions on web boards like DICE. This morning I saw a contract listing for an "Email Systems Specialist". It includes these gems under required skills:

  • Optimization through Internet (Pstini, eDoxs, Frontbridge) and Gateway (ISP) filter and blocking awareness and content management.
  • Experience with filtering and blocking software at the desktop level, including OEM settings for major ISP packages like Outlook and AOL 9.0.

Maybe they should've added "Willingness to shamelessly annoy people."

The part that's even harder to swallow is that they're offering $100/hour for 1-2 weeks, when the "Senior data architect" contract listed on the same day is offering "< $40/hour".
