Dear Log,

I slept extra-late today, as I felt a bit ill. Cause: Something I ate? Seasonal allergies? Or maybe the cat waking me up at all hours for feedings has scrambled my qi.

I went to a friend's exhibition, and chatted with some arty friends of his I hadn't yet met.

Technical tie-in: on the way there, I stopped at a bookstore around the corner and got, for just $10, an almost first-edition copy of Capek's RUR, the play where the word "robot" was coined.
