So the the Anglican and Methodist churches can't agree on the acceptability of women priests.
I propose to split the difference by simply banning male clergy in both churches -- and maybe we can spread it to all churches. Under penalty of taxation! I predict sudden outbreaks of well-adjusted attitudes toward women.

Ironically, the church as described in the Bible has nothing like the concept of "clergy." You have elders/pastors [goreadthebible.com]to guide and lead the church, a role traditionally (and unbiblically) relegated to preachers in the Protestant church.
It would have been fine if they'd left it alone.
So, I guess you could say I'm with you on banning male clergy. :)
