Wish

Dear Log,

All I wish right now is that Ogg encoders were faster. Ogg's audio quality is better than MP3 at comparable output bitrates, but man, it's sure slower to encode!

  • I think decoding is quite a bit slower too. I guess that's just an optimisation thing, and eventually it will all be ironed out, but I've definitely noticed that Ogg is slower to decode. Either that or it's because I'm using higher bitrates now. *shrug*
