It's like a crash-course lesson in what I would have learned if I'd spent serious time on p5p: Some people's opinions do not count, and the louder they shout "STOP! MY WAY IS THE ONLY WAY!", the less they count, until their only conceivable use is as cat food.
It's an often aggravating and stressful situation, but the alternative is to try nothing lest anyone complain, at which point the naysayers will have won before you've even started.
But it does make me sympathize with Quentin Crisp's old saying: "Other people are a mistake".
Maybe I just need a massage.
I pour myself a cup of strong coffee. :-)
