Here are some notable new O'Reilly Open Book online books that you might have missed:

There's also backissues of a little ol' thing called World Wide Web Journal, most notably containing a 1996-ish interwiew with Larry Wall and Tom Christiansen. And there's also some articles that are basically big names thinking aloud in a way that I like to think of as describing alternate timelines. That is: in the Spock-with-a-goatee universe, this is how JavaScript works, this is XML, and this is the hot new programming language.
