HTML table tricks, redone with CSS

[ #26110 ]
Dear Log,

HTML table tricks, redone with CSS.

As with many things, I figured this out and wrote it down because otherwise I'll never remember it.

Note that this isn't about avoiding tables. (Enough has been written about that by others.) Instead, it's about how to use tables with CSS styling instead of valign=this and cellpadding=that. Look and you'll see.
