Diæresis
Dear Log,
I'm still reeling from the semiotic coup that Beck has produced by leaving the diæresis/umlaut/trema off of "güero" in his album-title Guero .
It's like he's saying "Blue Öyster Cult took all the diæreses, now and forever, and I'm not going to pretend that they didn't".
Daaamn he's smooth.
I pour myself a cup of strong coffee. :-)
