Mod money

Dear Log,

I will not miss the guilder as such.
But I will miss the Netherlands' beautiful currency designs.

If the EU's current government were not an exercise in always pandering to the lowest imaginable denomenator, the currency design would simply have been handed over to the Dutch Bank. Ah, paper money -- the supreme ethnic craft-item of Europe!

  • Those Dutch currency designs really are cool! US dollars always seem so drab & mundane compared to European money. And while I like the new US designs, it looks more like Monopoly money now. :-)
