The bag of cedar chips that I was invited to
take off the floor of the totem
carver's workshed last week has now proven handy: I put them in an old cracker tin and they're now repelling
insects from the improvised indoor cat-nest.
I adore the kittens and the mom, but I think I have to give them all away in the next month or two. The cat I've had for years, Fang [interglacial.com], is petrified of the mother and each of the kittens, even the he weighs more than all of them put together. And seven cats is just toooo many, especially as in a few months they'll be adult-ish and it'll wintery, and they'll all have stay inside a lot. So I'm asking around with local friends to see if they can take a kitten or two or three.
