Bullets against logic

[ #19792 ]
Dear Log,

«Don't argue with the Devil

He's better at arguing than you are, having had thousands of years to practise. You can't bluff Satan with logic or your opinion, but you can use the weapon that makes him tremble - the truth of God. This is why memorising scripture is essential to defeating temptation. If you have no Bible verses memorised, you've got no bullets in your gun! »

Meanwhile, I'll be over here memorizing P-Funk lyrics ("bullets"). TREMBLE BEFORE IT, SATAN!

Unfunky kind of UFO (from the Sun)! We're unfunky and we're obsolete (and out of time)! And we're out of time! Gonna take your funk and make it mine!

  • He says "Don't argue with the devil" because (s)?he's too good at it, but we should memorize scripture, just in case we do? And when's the last time you've gotten into an argument with satan anyway? :-)
    • Well, that's the kind of logic that gets people into religion in the first place.....I argued with satan last weekend, the bitch kept snitzling my fries from across the table. Don't leave home without your holy water as sister mary margaret always used to say.
