Dear Log,
Holy crap! After I've been complaining for years about how Adobe Acrobat loads about as fast as if it were actually mode of adobe, I found this page. I did what it said, and now Acrobat loads in like two seconds, instead of like twenty.

Optional/readme.txt (Score:3, Informative)
On my Windows version of Acrobat 6 there is a directory called optional, in there is a single file called readme.txt which says: "Put unused plug-ins in the optional directory." Looks like Abobe thought about it already, but didn't tell anyone....
