Germany (my old country) is paying one of the biggest chunks toward the EU and the UN. One of the things you want to know when you give money, is what it is used for.
So... even though all EU countries pay into the EU (or receive money from it), it's always clear how the money flows.
I.e. Finland gave money to the EU and they got a receipt that stated what the money was(or will be) spent on.

It isn't true that the EU is giving out the price. It is a finish price funded by the finish government and finish companies.
