Dear Log,

The SYSTEM is DOWN. Specifically the whole Internet feed into Ketchikan. So nothing today (Tuesday) works, so you're seeing this via the usual time-warp effects of delayed posting.

I celebrated this by going and working on Pod::Simple::* more -- this time on the docs for Pod::Simple::Search. I'm in a particularly foul mood today, so of course I presume that everyone will hate everything about this and the rest of Pod::Simple; but I am still managing to ascribe this to my foul mood.

I mailed off my tax forms today, and then I celebrated by buying myself a fancy Sakura pen: it's archival quality, and has a brush tip. The lines it produces are fascinating, especially in the way that small changes in the angle of holding the pen produce very great differences in the kind of line that results.
