Today I took some photos, and wrote a CGI that spits out RealText, and bought some Thai-label Pocky.

  • In my RealPlayer (RealOne Player 2.0), the quote entitites show up as """. It looks like RealPlayer doesn't recognize these named entities.

    Well, I'm just guessing really, I have no idea if RealText even remotely resembles HTML.

    p.s. Hah hah on your choice of file name.

    • Oops, you're right -- I thought I corrected the quot thing already, but now I've actually fixed it -- thanks!

      And yes, RealText is pretty close to HTML.

      What's funny/odd about the filename? "fa" for "Fresh Air", "d" for "dynamic" (which is what I named my "cgi-bin" because I'm a REBEL).

        ... and the ".rt" extension for RealText, together make the filename "fa.rt". That's what, at least initially, shows up in my RealPlayer's location bar.
