I've been here in Alaska over a month, and I still can't really really wrap my mind around the fact that when it's 9am here, it's already 1pm on the east coast.

  • A few years ago I visited some friends in Taipei. Despite the 12 hour time difference from Philadelphia I had surprisingly little trouble adjusting my body clock. But I had the hardest time accepting that most mornings you could turn on the TV and watch live baseball games being played "last night" in the US.
