Perl meetings/event calendar
Initially my interest in this was because of the ever debating when-is-the-next-meeting-thread on Minneapolis Perl Mongers list. And because it's kind of sad that we don't have a calendar like that. Even the PHP people have one. So this is my attempt at it.
Right now you can add events, flip through the calendar, and extract a RSS listing from it. I'm working on an administrative interface so I can let other people approve events before they go into the calendar.

After life comes?
Today on #apache@ircnet we had a fun little discussion about signatures and it turned into putting something about life in your signature.

So we modified it a bit more to actually work and ended up with something like:
package Reincarnation;
sub DESTROY { Life->new; } 1;
package Life;
@Life::ISA = qw(Reincarnation);
sub new { bless {}, $_[0]; } 1;
package main; my $life = Life->new;
Which was kind of fun, 'cause it made perl segfault after a good amount of iterations (18021 times to be exact).
I'm sure someone else has made (and experienced) this before, but we found it very amusing. And thanks to Steven for making my day a bit fun

Christmas, Digital Camera, Job
This is my first journal entry.
So, I've been living in the States with my wife for 6 months now and I really like it. Moved all our stuff from Denmark this summer.
And last week I got a job writing Perl and mod_perl code for a company in St. Paul. It was well worth waiting for! The place rocks.
Today I went out and got a Canon G2 digital camera and it is very nice, what awesome pictures it takes!
And btw, Merry Christmas.
