Airplane 2: The Sequel

Airplane 2 has all the same jokes as Airplane 1, in pretty much the same order, with pretty much the same storyline, except it happens in space. (And has William Shatner in it) Somehow, its just as funny as the original.

When did hollywood lose the art of sequel making?

I thought Airplane 2 stunk. It didn't have anything good in it that was original. Everything that was funny had already had the taste of "been there, done that".

  I was basing my comment on the fact that when I watched them both back to back this weekend (thank you Comedy Central [comedycentral.com], I laughed about equally for both. Plus, extra points for Shatner.
