Yes. I really did have this conversation with someone tonight. I've removed my side, because he wasn't listening to me anyway.

    I fail to see what that proves, though.

    • That java programmers will believe ANYTHING.
      Or at least anything bad about perl.
      Or at least that perl is line noise.
      Well I suppose that one isn't too much of a stretch.

      But honestly I think it's just a humorous comment on the popular perception of perl.
  • One has to wonder how "random" shifted characters are... can't even blame them on the caps lock key.
