Me Wants a Precious...
The new 12" PowerBook, that is. Not too bad to get a PowerBook for $2000 (USD), though it looks like the cool ambient light sensor that backlights the keyboard only comes on the 17" model. Maybe I'll wait until they add that sensor to the rest of the models (if they do) and/or wait until they offer a free shipping deal on the Web site. Meanwhile, I'll have to go by the local Apple store to check 'em out.
Also, it looks like they've changed the shell material from titanium to an anodized aluminium, so you can no longer say tiBook
In related news, someone's offered me $1700 for my old car, so it looks like the funds may be there... now if I can only come up with a reason to have a PowerBook.
