I'm back!
Just got back from a rather lengthy vacation: drove up to visit my grandparents in Toledo, Ohio from Apex, North Carolina (that's over 600 miles one-way ;)). Had a great time and will put pictures up on the site soon, including shots of the World's Biggest Cuckoo Clock, Fifth Third Field (the new Mud Hens baseball field), a cast of SUE (T-Rex in the Field Museum in Chicago), various animals from the Toledo Zoo, Dwarf Island and Bob Evans (the restaurant of choice [I suppose from their popularity] of Interstate 77).
I drove through Amish country on the way up. Very scenic and almost makes you wish for such a simple life. I hear reports that the Amish are getting into trouble with teenage alcoholics and in-breeding, though. Seems not many folks are converting TO Amish-ness and there are only so many bloodlines before everyone's your cousin.
No one has all the answers.
