use Perl

It's about that time - time to leave for the day, but not until I write another entry. :-) Got another chunk o' code done on Yet Another CGI Script. Tonight's the Raleigh.pm group meeting and if it's anything like the comraderie of the PerlMonks & use Perl sites, it should be fun.

I'm reading 'jack: Straight from the Gut' right now (after finishing the 2 [out of 7 or 8] Chronicles of Narnia). I'm not sure why I never read the Narnia books, but I'm reading them now & enjoying them. I want to finish 'jack', which is also a good book, if you're into business mantra and then start on the Tolkien books before the movie comes out. We have eliminated the television in our house, so it's very easy not to get distracted (save for random debugging thoughts on scripts I worked on earlier in the day ;)).

Heading to a Beer Fest this weekend. Weeping Radish Brewery is one of my favorite breweries and they're going to be there with a Christmas Bock, which should be mighty tasty. (Random Fact: The good state of North Carolina has outlawed any beer over 6% alcohol.) Tomorrow night, I'm gonna see the Harry Potter movie (and yes, I read the books beforehand).
