Going back to Boca ... Boca ... Boca

[ #12376 ]

Well, I've never been to Boca Raton before, but that won't stop me from trying to be creative. ;)

Anyway, I just get this e-mail from my boss (out of the blue):

Would you take a look at this conference and consider going:

http://www.yapc.org/America/index.shtml

The developer of Bricolage is giving a presentation on the system, and I thought it might be a good intro into it.

So it looks like I'm going to a YAPC for the first time! Pretty excited and looking forward to meeting fellow JAPHies and learning a lot.

Peace,

Jason

I'm also lucky to have a boss [perl.org] who values the Perl community, and YAPC in particular. I missed YAPC last year, but managed to get to the two before that. I'm really looking forward to hearing Acme talk about Parrot, and Ingy talk about power tools for module authors, and the list goes on and on :-)
  • I just got budget approval today to go to YAPC. See you there!
