Stuff with the Perl Foundation. A couple of patches in the Perl core. A few CPAN modules. That about sums it up.
When the software revolution comes, first against the wall needs to be developers who write software for deploying code to thousands of remote servers, but still require you to click [ OK ] for each installation and offer no scriptable workaround.

Not sure. One friend had this problem with an application which upgraded Oracle database all over the US. Our company is has an app with this problem, too, but I can't name it.

I have to use my Solaris box and redirect the X display to install it on remote machines. Fortunately, I only have to do that rarely.
