I was chatting with one of our auditors today and noticed his British accent.
Ovid: What brought you to the US?
Auditor (sadly): The right-wing politics of Margaret Thatcher.

Seems odd that you would abandon England due to Thatcher politics to run to Reagan politics in the US, the US being a generally much more conservative country than England.
In the same period, he could have gotten fairly easy immigration to the much more liberal Canada or (at the time) Australia.
