I Won!

[ #6604 ]

So last night I went out for a nice Thai food dinner with friends Geoff and Cindy Young, which was really nice. Good food and great company.

Got back and Kip asked me if I was "too cool to pick up my awards". So I found out I'd won both the Perl and XSLT programmer's choice awards. I *totally* wasn't expecting it. I really shouldn't have won the XSLT award, since my contribution to XSLT as a whole has been pretty tiny, but I can't really fix that, except to point at the great work of the other candidates.

So thanks to everyone who voted for me - it's a great feeling to have won!
